What is Gigabit Fibre?
Welcome to our Ultrafast Gigabit Fibre network!
Since the inception of broadband Internet (…or even dial-up if you remember those days) there has been a reliance on the copper based telephone network.
To improve speeds, the use of optical fibre connections were introduced to street cabinets resulting in an increased speed closer to the home or business premises.
Now, that same fibre technology is being delivered straight to your front door, allowing you to achieve incredible Internet access speeds.
fibrebroadband.net was established in 2021 and exists to deliver this incredible access to the Internet, particularly within areas currently suffering from poor speeds and access.

Neil Sperring
Technical Architect
Neil is the driving force behind fibrebroadband.net. Whilst the company is relatively young, Neil has always worked with technology. Starting his IT career as an apprentice back in 2000, Neil has worked across many sectors; in various technical and senior positions. Neil has many interests outside of work too. When not in the office or visiting clients, he can often be found navigating his way across the country in a light aircraft.
Richard Knight
Technical Manager
Richard leads on all things technical including managing the support team. He is primarily responsible for the deployment, management, and monitoring of our network and customer connections. Richard enjoys developing tech at home, building computers and playing games with friends. He enjoys travel, having explored most of Europe through his interrailing adventures.
Pippa Carlyle-Price
Operations Manager
Pippa manages all our internal operations ranging from customer service and accounts to project managing new customer installations and deployments. Outside of work Pippa is a full time mum who enjoys cooking and crafting, tabletop gaming with friends, and watching (far too much) Netflix!
James Hoad
Senior Technical Specialist
James is a senior member of the support desk. He assists customers with any problems they may experience and undertakes a number of home and business installations. Outside of the office James enjoys spending time building tech, watching movies and playing games, while at university he spent his free time competing in e-sports on an amateur level.
